    • In order to Vroom you must first complete the new shopper registration form. Once you are registered, you are able to shop for the best deals on the net!
  • How much does a bid cost?

    • Each Vroom costs 50¢. Each shopper can fill up on Packs of 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 Vroom's.

Bidding

  • How do I bid on VroomLive?

    • It is easy to Vroom! Just follow these four easy steps:
    1. Complete the Shopper Registration form
    2. Fill up your account with Vrooms
    3. View items or add them to your Shopping Cart
    4. Vroom the price until it reaches zero
  • Fill up your account with Vrooms

    • Each Vroom costs 50¢, and each shopper can fill up on Packs of 5,10, 15, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 Vrooms
  • View items or add them to your shopping cart

    • Once you have filled up your account with Vrooms, you are able to begin shopping on VroomLive. When you see an item you would like to purchase Vroom down the price until it reaches zero, and then it is yours!
    • The final price of each item is zero. You only pay for the number of times you Vroom the price of each item.
    • Shoppers can use our Shopping Cart to have easy access to items they are interested in. Multiple items can be added to the Shopping Cart, which allows a quick and easy way to Vroom many prices at once.
    • Vroom Buddy is your personal shopping assistant. Vroom Buddy is here to help you shop for items, answer any questions you may have, and cheering you on as you Vroom!
  • Can you give me advice on how to Vroom?

    • It is easy to Vroom. With smart shopping you will save lots of money on items you want!
    • Start off by Vrooming the price of an item you want, then waiting a few minutes to see if others are also Vrooming the item. After a few minutes have passed go ahead and Vroom it again. If the price has dropped significantly you will need to pay close attention and Vroom more frequently.
    • Some items may take longer for the price to be Vroomed down, especially when the MSRP is higher for that item.
    • The best method of shopping is to keep an eye out for items moving quickly and to stay filled up with Vrooms so you do not run on empty when an item is nearing its final Vrooms.
  • How do I buy Vrooms?

    • You can fill up on Vrooms using your credit or debit card, or by using PayPal. We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Where can I keep track of the auctions I am bidding on?

    • Registered users are able to access their home page by clicking on My VroomLive for an inside look at their account. Just click on My VroomLive and you will be able to see items you have recently Vroomed.
    • The Shopping Cart is also a way to Vroom multiple items at once. To add an item to your shopping cart simply click Add to Cart and the item will then show up in your shopping cart for a fast way to Vroom. Just click the shopping cart icon on the top of the page to see items selected to Vroom.
  • How can I see how many time I have Vroomed an item?

    • You can see the number of times you have Vroomed an item under Vroom History on the right hand side of the item detail page.
    • To see a fully detailed view of your bid history simply go to your My VroomLive page, select Account and click on Vroom Account
  • Where can I see who Vroomed an item?

    • To see a list of other shoppers who are Vrooming an item take a look at the Vroom History to see a list of the most recent people to Vroom that item.
  • I Vroomed an item but did not get it, why?

    • Every item on VroomLive is available for all shoppers to Vroom, so others may have Vroomed after you have Vroomed the item. As the price comes close to zero expect a lot of activity. This is when it is good to be filled up on Vrooms in your account.

Shopping

    • I have just Vroomed the price to zero, what now? First of all, congratulations on getting a great deal!
  • Confirm Shipping Address

    • Immediately upon your purchase of an item you will be asked to verify your shipping address. If the shipping address is identical to your billing address then go ahead and confirm the address is correct and your item will be shipped right away! Package tracking notification is sent out within 6-12 hours of the item being sold.
  • Changes in Shipping Address

    • As in our Terms of Conditions, VroomLive cannot ship to P.O. Boxes because many national carriers do not include these in their delivery routes.
    • If your shipping address is separate from your billing address just update your address in the confirmation box. Once you enter your new address confirm everything is correct and your product will be on its way!
  • How can I watch an item?

    • The Shopping Cart is your key to watching multiple items at once, and you can Vroom more than one item at a time by checking multiple items to Vroom.
  • What is VroomLive Fast Lane?

    • The VroomLive Fast Lane is a fun way to Vroom multiple items at once. Scrolling on the bottom of the main page is the Fast Lane where an array of items are constantly scrolling. To Vroom an item on the fast lane simply hold your mouse over the item and click the Vroom button to Vroom the price. Items in the Fast Lane function just like a regular product display.
  • How can I find different products?

    • All items on VroomLive are placed in different categories. Simply go to the main page of VroomLive.com and select the category you would like to view.
  • When does a product sell?

    • All products begin at the MSRP price, with the price being lowered every time a shopper Vrooms the price. Once the current price reaches $0.00, the item is sold to the final shopper to Vroom the final price to $0.00 – Free!

Delivery and Shipping

  • Can I substitute an item?

    • Items being sold on VroomLive.com are not available to be exchanged for similar items or any other form of exchange.
  • Delivery charges

    • The final shopper to Vroom a product to $0.00 will not have to worry about delivery charges or any hidden fees. All taxes and shipping are factored into the start price of each item, and Vroomed with the price of each product.
  • What is the expected delivery time?

    • VroomLive has standard shipping times of 3-5 business days to residential addresses. Tracking notification and product updates are available within 6-12 hours of an item being sold.
    • A receipt and tracking number will be promptly emailed to the email address used to register the shopping account.
  • Has my product been shipped yet?

    • VroomLive will provide each shopper with a tracking number for their product within 6-12 hours of each item being checked out and all delivery information has been confirmed.
  • What countries does VroomLive ship to?

    • VroomLive welcomes shoppers from anywhere in the Mainland USA, as well as Hawaii and Alaska. We currently do not ship internationally.

Returns and complaints

  • What do I do if the item I won is faulty or broken?

  • VroomLIve has a 7 day return policy for broken or defective items. If an item is received and defective and/or broken please contact our customer service department immediately!
  • Can I return an item I have purchased?

  • Currently, VroomLive does not have a return policy on items that are not broken and/or defective.
  • Can I get a refund on an item I have purchased?

  • If you no longer want an item purchased, VroomLive will refund the Vrooms used in purchasing the item, if notice is given before the item has been shipped.

Managing my account

  • How do I change my password?

  • All VroomLive shoppers can change their password at their My VroomLive page under the My Information section. Just select Change Password
  • What do I do if I forgot my username and password?

  • If you have forgotten or misplaced your password click Lost Password? in the login box. We will send you an email that will walk you through the process of resetting your password to the email used to register the shopping account.
  • How do I subscribe and unsubscribe from the VroomLive newsletter?

  • Click the Help button and select the link Subscribe/Unsubscribe in the help box. You will then be able to select whether or not you would like to receive our weekly newsletter to the email address used to register your account.
  • Can I change my username?

  • Once selected, VroomLive shopping account usernames can not be changed. When registering please choose a name that will not be offensive to others, or a VroomLive associates may ask you to choose a more appropriate username.
  • How do I add or change my address?

  • Log into My VroomLive and go into My Information to edit your shipping/billing address. Please note: VroomLive can only store one billing address and one delivery address.
  • If there is not a separate delivery address then your billing address will be used as a default address. This can be changed before each item is shipped.
  • Can I change my first name and surname?

  • In the event your name has changed please contact the VroomLive Customer Service Team.
  • Where can I check how many Vrooms are in my shopping account?

  • Once logged into your VroomLive shopping account you can see how many Vrooms you have in the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Where can I check how many items I have purchased?

  • For purchase history please log into your VroomLive shopping account and go into My VroomLive and click My Purchases to view purchased item history.
  • How do I delete my account?

  • We would be sad to lose you as a customer! In order to delete your VroomLive shopping account go to My VroomLive then select My Information and click Close Account. There will be guided instructions from that point.
  • Where do I find my VroomLive Shopping Account Username?

  • Once you have registered for your VroomLive Shopping Account you will receive your username to the email address entered in registration.
  • If you would like us to re-send your information then click on Help and select Forgot My Account Information in the help box. We will then send account information to the email address used to register your VroomLive Shopping Account.
  • Can I change my email address?

  • If you would prefer to change your email address please contact the VroomLive Customer Service Team with the following information: your username, registered address and phone number associated with your VroomLive Shopping Account, and we will promptly change your information once we have confirmed all details are correct.

Payment and payment methods

  • How can I pay for my Vrooms?

  • VroomLive shoppers can purchase Vrooms with all major credit/debit cars, as well as PayPal. We accept many common credit merchants, such as: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.
  • How secure are your payment methods?

  • Securing your information is top priority for VroomLive! We use high-security encoding (SSL) to ensure all payment details and other information are kept secure when processing your payments.

Technical Problems

  • Why have my Vrooms not registered?

  • It's a very rare situation, but there are times where VroomLive Shoppers have a Vroom that does not get registered on an item. This is often due to a "lag" within the internet. While this is something often caused by the speed of an internet connection, there are a few ways you can ensure your Vrooms are not being interrupted in your shopping:
    • While shopping on VroomLive, don't download large data files
    • Try not to send emails with very large data attachments when shopping at VroomLive.
    • Have a large amount of windows or tabs open on your browser
    • Avoid running other background applications that are resource intensive.
  • The VroomLive Technical Support Team is more than happy to help make sure your Vrooms are being placed in the right order, and is glad to provide any assistance with any technical questions that may arise while shopping.
  • I cannot confirm my registration through the email link

  • Your email browser may not recognize the link sent in the email. If this happens, simply copy and paste the complete link into your internet browser address bar. If this doesn't work, please contact the VroomLive Customer Service Team to help, providing us with the email address used in registration.
  • How do I activate cookies?

  • To enable cookies on VroomLive, please follow the below instructions for your particular browser:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+

    • Select Tools from the pull-down menu in your browser.
    • Select Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog will appear.
    • Select the Privacy tab. Under Settings, click Advanced.
    • Check Override automatic cookie handling under Cookies section in Advanced Privacy Settings window.
    • Under First-party Cookies, select Accept. Under Third-party Cookies, select Accept. Check Always allow session cookies.
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.0+

    • Go to the "Tools" menu.
    • Select "Options"
    • Select the Privacy tab.
    • Make sure that the Accept cookies from sites under Cookies is ticked (the default setting).
    • Click "OK" to save changes.
  • What happens to the products during system down time?

  • In the event of any site technical maintenance and/or planned outage, all products will be paused at their current Vroom price, and all shoppers will be able to continue to Vroom once the site maintenance is done.
  • I am using an AOL browser why am I unable to bid?

  • It is necessary to enable cookies in order to shop at VroomLive. Unfortunately, AOL browsers do not support cookies. We would encourage you to download and use one of our supported browsers.

Protect yourself

  • The VroomLive Team will never ask you for your password in emails or on the phone. To protect yourself, please do not share your password with anybody. If you have a question concerning security, feel free to email our VroomLive Customer Service Team at support@VroomLive.com
  • What is the danger of fake emails?

  • A common method of online security breach is called "Phishing" where an email prompts the recipient to send back sensitive information, such as credit card details and/or passwords. VroomLive will never ask for this via email.
  • How do I know if an email was sent by VroomLive?

  • All emails sent from the VroomLive database contain information specific to each shopper receiving emails, such as user name, email address, etc.
  • What do I do if I receive a suspicious email?

  • Payment for Vrooms are able to be made via the VroomLive website, where a secure online connection (SSL) is used to protect your data. Do not send back sensitive email if prompted!
